Pastors Boot Camp at FBC O’Fallon, IL
Dear Pastor Friends,
Pastors need each other more than ever! I’ve had it on my heart for some time to lead a “Pastors Boot Camp”. It is a day of training and sharpening that I hope will encourage us in our ministry assignments as pastors.
This is for any pastor, church planter or those soon to become one. It is Thursday, May 20th from 9-3. There is no cost though I’m limiting it to the first 20 who sign up, so register soon.
Here are some subjects I want to teach and discuss with you.
–Preaching. I’ll give my thoughts on sermon preparation, the importance of explaining, illustrating and applying the text, thoughts on how to have an effective outline and how to really “connect” with those who hear us.
–Leading. I want to discuss leading and church structures, facilitating change in your church in healthy ways and 3 keys to leading well.
–Personal Growth. I’ll discuss growing in our devotional lives and give some thoughts on how to do that more effectively. We will talk about growing with our family, developing healthy habits and more.
I’ve invited Special Guest Jonathan Peters, pastor of Colombia, IL to join me in the teaching times. And, I want our time to include some healthy discussions from all the pastors who join us. Blessings on you and your ministry!

Pastors Boot Camp Information
When : Thursday, May 20th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where : FBC O’Fallon, IL. (Come to the Main Entrance.)
Cost: No charge, though you do need to register. A Chick-Fil-A box lunch is provided. Registration is limited to the first 20 participants so please plan to come if you register.
