Faith and spiritual development are key components of BHC care. Driven by the belief that complete healing is known only in relationships through God, children are given the opportunity for spiritual growth and worship experience in a positive, yet non-coercive environment. Growth opportunities are provided through on-campus activities and in conjunction with local Baptist churches. By helping residents and families connect with something bigger than themselves, BHC hopes they will move away from self-defeating habits and into positive, outwardly focused habits (i.e., respecting authority, serving community).
